FPGA CHIP WITH FUZZY PWM CONTROL FOR SYNCHRONIZING A CHAOTIC SYSTEM

Abstract

A field-programmable gates array (FPGA) chip with proposed fuzzy pulse width modulator (FPWM) control for synchronizing master– slave chaotic systems with uncertainties is proposed in this paper. The proposed FPWM is constructed by DSP Builder tool which can be co-simulated with other Matlab/Simulink tool and can be directly converted to hardware description language to download into FPGA chip. Combine a master–slave chaotic plant constructed in Matlab platform with the proposed FPGA chip as a FPGA-in-loop configuration to show that the synchronizing precision is good enough by using our proposed FPGA chip control. Hardware experiment shows the feasibility of the proposed design scheme.
