Abstract

Evaluation is a key aspect of collaborative learning proposals. Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL) environments intend to support the collaborative learning processes among students, and therefore it is necessary to observe if, how, and when they really collaborate in order to validate the usage of such systems. This work proposes evaluation criteria for CSCL environments and applies them to four case studies using a project-based learning application. The goal is to analyze the collaboration level among the members of working groups.
