A Design of a Double-Band Microstrip Slot Antenna Working on 2.4GHZ /5.2GHZ

Abstract

A novel microstrip slot antenna for WLAN wireless equipment has been designed in this paper. Double-band capability is realized by using a channel-cutting and fed microstrip within the patch. The two central frequencies lie in the WLAN’s 2.4GHz and 5.2GHz. The simulation results of the software HFSS and the corresponding measurement show that the antenna has a good performance on the working frequencies 2.4GHz/5.2GHz and meets the design requirements.
