Stabilization of Uncertain Hopfield Neural Networks with Dead-Zone and Disturbance Input

Abstract

This paper investigates the stabilization problem of uncertain Hopfield neural networks (HNNs) subject to dead-zone and disturbance input. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, a memoryless decentralized feedback controller is derived for guaranteeing global exponential stability of the system. The main results illustrate the derived control law does not impose restriction on the derivative of the time-varying delays of the uncertain HNNs with dead-zone and Gaussian noise input. A numerical example is given to justify the validity of the proposed control scheme.
