Filters. resonators, stripline.
A design concept of microwave filter as an independent element to be mounted in PCB was developed. The filter design is based on a stripline with dielectric filling made from two different layers. The final filter prototypes were presented. The simulations and measurements results of the filter prototypes were shown. The solutions of problems of hermetical sealing and mounting of the filter’s housing were presented. The filters fabricated according to this concept are very low-cost. The filter prototypes passed positively temperature, mechanical and climatic tests. They were implemented in radar systems produced in Telecommunications Research Institute.
