Genetic algorithms, selective pressure, optimizations, simulation and air traffic control.
The objective of this study is to present a proposal for optimization of a computational tool based on genetic algorithms. One purpose of this tool is to solve high complexity problems involving people safety, related to air traffic control. It also presents a problem, concerning the simulation time to obtain its best results. Thus, this study uses of selective pressure control; an option for reducing the optimization time of this tool. Among all known methods, it uses the automatically running selective pressure control method and proposes the creation of two methods with manual control of selective pressure.
