This paper proposes a credit transfer system using Web Ontology Language (OWL) between universities. Credit transfer has been conducted mainly comparing and trans forming curricula among universities. Mutual 1 : 1 com parisons are needed n(n − 1)/2 among n universities. We propose a credit transfer system using IEEE/ACM Comput ing Curricula as intermediate curricula in the area of com puter science in order to reduce the number of mutual com parisons to n. Two transformation methods are presented for practical use of the curricula, which consist of the ma trix of courses and the body of knowledge with teaching hours.
