Abstract

This paper presents a simulation modeling and performance analysis on an IEEE 802.16e mobile broadband wireless access system focusing on the MAC layer scheduling for VoIP traffic. Specfically, we present the methodology and results of a performance analysis of an IEEE 802.16e broadband wireless access system with 5MHz/512FFT OFDMA 5ms PHY for various link performance and numbers of subscriber stations.
