: Teaching computer programming is quite a challenging task for both instructors and students. It is even more challenging for instructors and students in distance education especially in individual studies. In this paper we report a Web-based platform for distance education for teaching and learning computer programming in distance education, and discuss how computer programming can be taught and learned using this integrated Web-based platform.
