Abstract

The paper is presenting the natural gas supply for power plant used for peak shaving purposes in daily power supply for Slovenia. The 130 MW power plant is situated at the gas pipeline branch branching from the main grid of Slovenian gas pipeline system. The power network at the power plant enables the power distribution to users. The paper is presenting the gas transport activities to enable the daily peak supply of the gas delivery lasting normally 8 hours against the continuous gas supply to the pipeline grid at border stations.
