Abstract

A model should describe the dynamic behaviour of the system as accurate as possible using suitably selected mathematical relations and parameter values especially in the case that the model should run in parallel to industrial processes for fault diagnostic purposes. This paper presents the estimation of the suitable parameter values for the description of the dynamic behaviour of a hydraulic system during the modelling and simulation process. The simulation results were used for online fault diagnosis of a hydraulic system based on the deviation between the behaviour of model and measurement results.
