Abstract

This paper presents the use of a Simple Voltage Stability Index (SVSI) to find out the most sensitive buses that are on the verge of voltage collapse. The weakest bus (most sensitive) is ranked with highest priority, as further loading may results in voltage breakdown. The paper uses the SVSI, to predict the most sensitive buses and ranked them with associated loadability limits.
