Abstract

Aiming at the bottleneck problem of the ultrasonic detection technology in active collision warning system of the tower crane, the architecture of long-distance ultrasonic detection system is designed. On this basis, the ultrasonic detection device is developed. The long-distance time delay estimation method based on vibration model is proposed. The system mainly consists of the ultrasonic transducer, microcontroller module, ultrasonic signal excitation module, ultra-sonic signal conditioning module and temperature compensation module. Based on the traditional threshold method, the ultrasonic transducer vibration time domain is used to identify the ultrasonic echo signal and estimate the starting position of the ultrasonic echo. The experimental results show that the device adopts the vibration model delay estimation method and can detect 33-m obstacles in real time, accurately, stably and efficiently.
