Abstract

An electric cylinder is the integrated design of modular products of servomotor and screw. It has the advantages which are superior in control performance, easy installation and debugging, and simple for maintenance. In this article, the mathematical model of the electric cylinder system is established, and the state space model of the permanent magnet synchronous motor and its transmission system is proposed. A fuzzy adaptive proportional-integral-derivative (PID)-control system is proposed for the control of this system, in which the parameters of PID controller can be changed in real time by using the input fuzzy inference module of the deviation signal, so the system can be good in stability and robustness. The validity of the control system is verified by simulations, which shows that this control method has wonderful effectiveness.
