Abstract

To research space gap magnetic field harmonic influence on the decouple control and unknown parameters of double three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) two-motor series-connected system, the nonlinear adaptive back-stepping control approach is presented. The adaptive back-stepping controllers of PMSM1 with fifth and seventh harmonics and PMSM2 without harmonics are deduced, which weaken the torque pulse produced by fifth and seventh harmonics. The simulation contrasting with PI controller shows that adaptive back- stepping scheme can provide condition for the decouple control of the two series-connected motors, restrain the parameters variations and load disturbance and has better response, robustness and tracking performances.
