Abstract

NetFPGA SUME is a platform of the NetFPGA which has the high performance. In this paper, we introduce the configuration process of the NetFPGA SUME. And an experiment is designed which uses the Socket model to verify the high rate and stability of the NetFPGA SUME. The experiment results illustrate that the NetFPGA SUME can achieve stable switching and realize a high forwarding rate. In addition, we built a dynamic satellite topology based on software define network and test the delay and rate of the network in different scenes. The experiment result shows that the dynamic satellite network under the software-defined network architecture can keep the connectivity during the whole time and recovery quickly from the satellite handoff.
