After evolution of Data Stream Management Systems (DSMSs) and distributed extensions of them (i.e. Distributed Stream Processing Systems), it is now time to work on wide area infrastructures and architectures for Pervasive Stream Information Retrieval Network (PSIRN). In this paper, we first address the problems and requirements for achieving a good PSIRN. We then introduce our new agent-based infrastructure prototype (called Cheshmehsar ) and discuss about its architecture. Finally, we focus on our genetic-based query distribution algorithm in Cheshmehsar.
