Abstract

In this work, a new control and optimization technology is proposed in power chain structure. These technologies consist of driving electric vehicles by a three-transistor converter to push the disadvantages of the converter to two levels of voltages such as the floating potential. Moreover, these structures offer the advantage of an undoubted reduction in the cost of the power chain because it comprises only three transistors. These structures also offer the advantage of power chain simplified control algorithm. A comparative study of the converter’s structure performances with respect to the symmetrical structure, and the asymmetrical structure is carried out to prove the performance of the proposed control technique.
