In Electrocardiogram (ECG), it is well known that serious arrhythmia such as Ventricular Fibrillation (VF) and Ventricular Tachycardia (VT) are lethal cardiac and will lead to sudden cardiac death. For these serious arrhythmic events, the timely employment of an electrical defibrillator may lead to successful results and thus widespread deployment of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) has been suggested. Although accurate and quick detection of these events is the most important function in AEDs, it is not easy. In this paper, we propose a new ECG detection algorithm based on spectrum features of ECG.
