Abstract

In this paper, we propose an estimation algorithm for the optimal insemination phase based on the analysis result of the time series data for vaginal resistance and temperature in the estrous cycle of cattle. First of all, in order to derive remarkable features for these data, time histories for maximum and minimum values in a time interval have been extracted, and next by using these time histories we derive some characteristic parameters. Finally, we propose an estimation algorithm for the optimal insemination phase based on these characteristic parameters.
