Abstract

This paper describes a fuzzy multi-model supervisory control of a nonlinear boiler model. The distance measure νg is introduced to measure the deviation of the linear system of the boiler at a typical operating point from other operating points. Besides, a set of local linear controllers is proposed for each operating point and a supervisory control based on multi-model fuzzy logic using the distance measure is used to provide necessary control actions. Eventually, some simulation results are given to verify this method is helpful for controlling the unit with sever nonlinearity.
