Hot continuous rolling, virtual mill, simulation, finishing mill group
Based on the complexity and importance of finishing mill group of hot strip mill, the paper develops a version of real-time simulation system about 7-stand tandem hot rolling mill. This simulation system is used to simulate the rolling process. In order to meet real need, the real-time simulation would be realized through the use of Power PC high-speed chips, whose aims are to pursue maximize imitating the substantial problems, to guide the production online, offline debug, establish and optimize the mathematical models in the rolling process, to guide system design, and so on.
