Free-space optical (FSO) communication suffers from irradiance variations caused by random atmospheric temperature fluctuations and pointing error due to misalignment between transmitter and receiver. In this paper, we have presented simulation results for the bit error rate (BER) performance of a BPSK - sub-carrier intensity modulated free-space optical communication link considering log-normal atmospheric turbulence along with pointing error
