uniform and nonuniform sampling, signal reconstruction
In this paper, reconstruction of a uniformly sampled signal from a short nonuniformly sampled signal is described. Nonuniform sampling occurs in a very high-speed waveform digitizing system with interleaved A/D converters. We derived a relationship between the discrete-time Fourier transform (DTFT) of a uniformly sampled signal and the DTFT of a nonuniformly sampled signal. We made a comparison between two reconstruction methods by applying them to short nonuniformly sampled signals. It was shown by experiment that performance was similar. However, one method needs lower computational requirement.
