Abstract

The article gives the overview on the EU Regulations and Directives connected with the energy market. It furthermore describes EU efficiency plan enacted in 2011. In order to understand the necessities of the Regulations and Directives, the characteristics of the energy market are explained. At the very end also the consequences of the latest set of regulations are provided.
