Abstract

To prevent descaling in heat substations for the production of domestic warm water, liquid polyphosphates systems are mainly used in district heating system. We try to substitute these systems with systems for the operation of which any additional chemicals in consumer water are needed. This paper evaluates devices for magnetic water treatment under realistic conditions, and compares them with liquid polyphosphates system.
