Abstract

The paper offers a simulation solution for the cellular membrane in a microelectronics engineering software. The cell membrane presents the first instance for the electrical stimulus in the cellular biology. The electrical transmembranar voltage can be extracted by simulations along the entire cross-section of the membrane. The action potential distribution can be extracted. The insulator properties of the bi-lipidic layer can be introduced as input data in software. Due to the ionophore channels, the membrane selectively allows the ionic electrical charge transport. Therefore, the i.c. and e.c. environments that are wealthy in ionic electric charge were assumed as a semiconductor material.
