Imaging of pregnancy stages, second harmonic generation imaging, structural image analysis, image processing
This paper presents a structural analysis to distinguish pregnancy stages of mice using Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) imaging. Collagen fibers, the main structural component of cervical tissue, undergo stiffness changes during pregnancy. In this work, a structural analysis of collagen fibers is carried out using SHG images of mouse cervical tissue. When this structural analysis is combined with the previously used image features, it is shown that classification rates higher than the previously reported rates are obtained.
