Optical telescope, atmospheric turbulent, quality performances
The mathematical modeling of imaging through Gaussian atmospheric turbulence is presented. This includes imaging of a reference star and an object that has very distinct features. The results demonstrate the quantitative assessment of the quality of images under different seeing conditions.
