In this paper, we describe a system that enhances activities in fieldwork conducted by students majoring in development studies. The proposed system mainly contains two components to enhance students’ activities. One is the component to classify the data with using temporal, special, and conceptual metadata. The other is the component to share these classified data with collaborators in the remote site. We have implemented a prototype application of the proposed system. Further, we have provided our prototype application to three students majoring in development studies and interviewed them about usability and performance of the application. From the result of the experiment, we have found out that the proposed system could enhance the activities of students, especially students who have already experienced some rounds of fieldwork.
