Abstract

This paper presents the architecture and implementation details of a master level online laboratory for digital filtering of noisy sensor signals. The laboratory consists of a theoretical and a remotely operable practical part, introducing the background knowledge for selection of adequate filters and parameter settings. Students are offered a wide choice of digital filtering algorithms whose parameters can be modified and whose effects can be studied and compared.
