Building a high quality e-Learning environment is one of the greatest challenges. One important approach for enhancing an e-Learning environment is to build a recommender system that guides the learners in their activities. The core business logic implies a classification of learner based on a linear regression mechanism. The obtained classification model is used for obtaining the current class of the learner and the target class. Once the target class is determined the distance between them is computed and recommendations are obtained.
