Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the impact of a new comparative education course on the global perspectives and technological literacy of practicing teachers through implementing best practice in hybrid learning. Student survey data indicated that the students increased their higher learning skills through use of the Wiki and the discussion process, became more involved in the course using the chat and discussion processes, and will apply both the instructional technology and the comparative education studies in their own classroom.
