Abstract

To tackle the difficulty due to the existence of heterogenous multiple actuators, non-smooth control techniques were applied to the output tracking design for a class of uncertain systems with heterogeneous multiple actuators. In the design, sliding mode and non-smooth control techniques were used to design control laws for the discontinuous and continuous actuators, respectively. The proposed design method was applied to the blended attitude control of missiles with lateral jet thrusters and aerodynamic fins, and numerical simulation was conducted. Through comparison, obvious improvement was obtained on both tracking performance and jet thruster consumption.
