This contribution presents the principles of Living Security– a tool-supported process model for evolving security critical systems. We merge concepts from IT management and security engineering to conceive an approach that considers security as a collaborative and continuous engineering and management activity of the many stakeholders. It facilitates a continuous system-level risk management that is tightly coupled to the executing system.
