Dynamic replication, data grid, replica storage, topology grid
Dynamic replication in data grids aims to improve the data access time and to reduce the bandwidth consumption. Several works address placement of data replicas in data grids but they assume unlimited storage for replicas. In this paper, we propose a new replication strategy for dynamicdata grids, called LWF, assuming limited replica storage. Our strategy takes into account the topology grid into consideration. We evaluate the performance of our strategy through simulation. The obtained results show that our strategy achieves better performance than other strategies.
