The paper addresses the problem of transforming by the state and output coordinate changes the discrete-time single-input single-output nonlinear control system into the extended observer form, which depends also on the past inputs and outputs. The simple necessary and sufficient solvability conditions are formulated in terms of entries of certain matrices, associated with the corresponding input-output equation of the control system. The paper provides the alternative conditions that are also applicable for the systems with the inputs, unlike the existing conditions.
