The design of a document sharing system is proposed, which forms part of a superior system for the support of research projects solved with the aid of telematics services within the framework of research consortia. Functionalities of individual modules that are part of the document sharing system are described. The modules include modules for creating the content, workflow, repository, administration of metadata, and version control system. In conclusion, an implemented system for document administration is described that is being tested at Brno University of Technology and in GiTy a.s.
