Micro-grid, distributed generation, net-connected operation, islanded operation, super-capacitor
In order to make good use of wind, sunlight, firedamp and other kinds of green energy, distributed generation (DG) occurs. Micro-grid (MG) which evolves from distributed generation can switch to islanded operation and maintain power supply for major loads when main grid fails, because of these merits, micro-grid is very promising. This paper established the model of micro-grid which contains a super-capacitor, analyzed the control strategy of net-connected and islanded operation mode, and validated its correctness by simulation.
