This paper presents the comparisons of effect on conducted EMI emission and harmonic noise effect from compact fluorescent lamp or energy saving lamps each brand. The test set has been gotten public favor that consists of typical lamps in Thailand markets. The types of lamp consist of incandescent lamp (100 W), and compact fluorescent lamp or energy saving lamp (18 W, 20 W and 22 W). The effect of lamps on the conducted EMI emission and harmonic noise are compared to verify the effectiveness of electrical performance. The test setup is referred to the CISPR-16 standard.
