The Grayout application resolves problem of clutter in a news web page. It identifies area of the page that contains core content. This relevant content is exposed and highlighted, while all the clutter in the page is sent to the background and grayed out. Core content is easily readable, and can be magnified to help visually impaired users. Percentage of page used for content vs. clutter is displayed for informational purposes related to how well the news web page is utilized.
