bioenergy village, heat distribution network, Steiner tree problem
In ‘bioenergy villages’ renewable energies are used to sup ply the villagers with heat and electricity. Whereas the electricity gets fed into the national grid, a local heat distri bution network is necessary to supply the inhabitants with heat. This paper presents an optimization model for the heat distribtion system. The problem is described as a Steiner tree problem. The model is applied on a small example village.
