Signal and image processing, grid-based clustering, ensemble approach.
The ECCA algorithm implemented on a sequence of grids with different cell sizes and based on iterative clustering is proposed. Clustering on fixed grid is performed at every iteration step. The final solution is constructed using the ensemble approach based on pair wise object clustering. The proposed algorithm allows recognizing multimodal clusters of complex forms. The results are shown to be stable with respect to varying of the cell size in the grid structure.
