In this work the idea of one level distributed computer systems (DCS) is observed. There proposes an idea of using a Fast Ethernet bus as a common bus for all levels of the system from servers and workstations to I/O modules. It is shown on the example of developed DCS that the new estimation of distributed control systems building gives new advantages to a system developer and changes the concept meaning of classical “controller”.
