Remote sensing, SAR, wavenumber algorithm.
The wavenumber algorithm is one of the most powerful methods in synthetic aperture radar (SAR) to produce an image from remote site with high resolution in both range and azimuth direction. The implementation of this algorithm is performed in range-azimuth frequency domain. In this paper the comprehensive implementation of this algorithm is performed on the real data gathered from RADARSAT and the corresponding results are illustrated. Its superiority over the other leading algorithms is discussed as well.
