Abstract

This paper presents three fuzzy logic controllers which used to enhance the performance of the Self Excited Doubly-Fed Induction Generator (SEDFIG). The terminal voltage, the generated power and the DC voltage is the considerable characteristics in this paper. These three characteristics are controlled by the proposed three fuzzy logic controllers which are fuzzy PI controller of the terminal voltage, fuzzy PD controller of the generated power and fuzzy PD controller of the DC voltage with integral controller as a feedback. A Static Var Compensator (SVC) is used as reactive power source which controlled to regulate the terminal voltage. Simulation results of applying some power system faults will expressed in this paper.
