Abstract

A delayed feedback control scheme for reducing chaotic behaviour in a peak current-mode controlled power factor-correction (PFC) boost converter is described. Practical implementation of the control strategy is achieved using an 89C51 microcontroller and experimental results and MATLAB/SIMULINK simulations show the effectiveness and robustness of the scheme.
