Abstract

Intelligent and mobile agents are becoming increasingly important, and likely to appear in more and more appli cations in the near future. We intend to develop a research line concerning the modeling of the distributed knowledge by inheritance, based on mobile agents. This paper presents a mobile agents approach of a master-slave architecture that implements the results presented in [1] and [2]. The struc ture includes one master agent and several slave agents. The master agent receives the interrogation and commu nicates with the slave agents in order to process the knowl edge bases. The mobile agents system architecture, im plementation and results of two different knowledge bases used to test the system functionality are presented.
