Resource Framework Optimization Prediction
The Non-Deterministic Resource Framework (NDRF) aims to create an adaptive environment for an existing computer center in order to optimize it. The goal of the optimization is for example a reduction of the overall energy consumption. The tool described in the paper supports the NDRF to fulfill the optimization. The modeling language is UML. The usage to support the NDRF optimization is shown in the paper. The described tool covers resource measurement in heterogeneous environments, resource predictions based on historical values (several mathematical methods are described.
