Bulky waste recovery, genetic algorithms, stochasticnetwork design problem
Applying stochastic programming techniques, a stochastic network design model for bulky waste recovery is proposed to decide whether a resource recovery center should be opened, which disposition procedure should be introduced and the corresponding flow distribution of bulky waste, used commodity and final waste. In addition, a heuristic algorithm integrating genetic algorithm with scenario generation method is developed in this study because the stochastic reverse logistic network design problem is a NP-hard problem.
